Photographic images were taken at Cardiff Boat Building and Slipway Company Ltd. and applied to an old canvas sail using the heat transfer process. It was designed to represent the traditional craftsmanship of the small boat building industry, which once flourished in Cardiff, whilst at the same time acknowledging the importance of the present & future development of the bay.
